In collaboration with the Medicon Valley Alliance and fellow MVA member Novo Nordisk, TECHNIA had the privilege of co-hosting the recent TECHNIA Boost Seminar.

The seminar delved into the topic of gaining a competitive edge in Life Sciences by exploring digital trends and tools for sustainable product creation.

Before delving into the topic, Annelie Uvhagen, the Director of TECHNIA Life Sciences, heading a team of approximately 50 professionals committed to advancing the industry, introduced TECHNIA to convey the company’s mission and essence through a short video. This video encapsulated TECHNIA’s driving purpose, emphasizing its commitment to sustainability.

However, what truly inspired Annelie and underscored the importance of this purpose was a heartfelt conversation with her 12-year-old daughter. Her daughter’s declaration that she would not have biological children due to concerns about the future struck a chord, highlighting the urgency of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Annelie stressed that the industry needs to expedite innovation and embrace disruptive changes, leveraging technologies such as AI, IoT, VR, and 3D Printing.

TECHNIA’s contribution to this mission is through a robust PLM platform, which accelerates sustainable innovation. By digitalizing product development processes, it assists companies in delivering innovative solutions efficiently and meeting stringent regulatory requirements.

The spotlight was on Virtual Twins, a transformative technology. According to Alice Steenland, former CSO at Dassault Systèmes, “Real disruption in technology is often completely IMPOSSIBLE without Virtual Twins.”

TECHNIA firmly believes in the potential of this technology to revolutionize sustainability and is impressed by its significant impact.

The purpose of the Boost Seminar was to empower attendees with knowledge, inspiration, and the confidence to lead change in their respective organizations. TECHNIA’s mission is to make product creation in the Life Sciences industry sustainable and aligned with each organization’s purpose.

The seminar concluded with a call to continue discussions, networking, and knowledge sharing after the event. The message was clear: together, the industry can drive meaningful change in Life Sciences for a sustainable and brighter future.
