Aesculap manufactures precision surgical instruments for healthcare organisations and professionals.
TECHNIA helped Aesculap deliver a comprehensive training programme for its PLM environments.
Aesculap can now implement individual methods of training and receives quick support for any questions using TECHNIA’s hotline service.
“With TECHNIA, we have found a strong partner, one which has adopted our individual methods of training and has always been able to provide us with quick support for any questions using their hotline service.”
With 25 years of experience and renowned for their expertise as a gold-certified Dassault Systèmes education partner, TECHNIA (formerly TechniaTranscat) offers a comprehensive training programme for a PLM environment.
The TECHNIA training programme for PLM environments has been very well received by clients with up to 350 courses being booked every year – a clear confirmation of the high level of quality.
This trend is also growing – with the foundation of the TECHNIA Academy at the end of 2014, cutting-edge technology is now in use, making it possible to enhance the range of courses on offer with new components such as e-learning and blended learning. The TECHNIA Academy Day was held in Karlsruhe, Germany on 25th June 2015, providing insights into the modern training concepts and topics.
TECHNIA’s training skills cover the entire PLM process from product development and product design to PDM to digital production, analysis and simulation.
“In the PLM environment, we work with forward-looking solutions and accordingly, we are now also using innovative technologies in our training programmes,” explains Ralf Heilmann, PLM Education Manager at the TECHNIA Academy.
In addition to this, the company also runs state-of-the-art training centres at eight locations in Germany and Austria. Alongside the well-established classroom-based courses with certified trainers, other training concepts such as e-learning and blended learning courses – an approach combining both methods of education – are also on offer at these sites.
The training sessions are supplemented by the TECHNIA knowledge apps, webinars and standardised or individual online education components.
The courses are provided by means of a Learning Management System from TECHNIA or for standard Dassault Systèmes courses, on the Companion Learning Space platform as well as on custom-designed learning systems for individual clients. The knowledge apps for mobile end devices such as CATIA V5 Quick Guide or CATIA V5 FEM can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
In order to tailor the training programmes to precisely match the client’s needs, the first step is to carry out an analysis of the participant’s current level of knowledge. Using this as a basis, the optimum combination of training components can be identified and didactic and technical concepts for the courses can be prepared.
The Karlsruhe-based company’s leading role in this training environment is continually affirmed by their clients.
“With TECHNIA (formerly TechniaTranscat), we have found a strong partner, one which has adopted our individual methods of training and has always been able to provide us with quick support for any questions using their hotline service,” attests Fabian Hoefer, CAD Coordination for Aesculap AG in Tuttlingen, a division of B. Braun Melsungen AG.
