As our New Business Consultant you will drive new business engagements through complex, end-to-end sales cycles. Develop campaigns and lead initiatives to secure and expand digital transformation projects for mid-to-large SMEs and enterprise-level design and manufacturing companies (OEMs).
You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary. The position can be hybrid/WFH depending on location.
Key Responsibilities our New Business Consultant will undertake:
- Gain and maintain up to date expert industry knowledge.
- Full accountability for achieving targets agreed with senior management.
- Proactively identify, approach and engage with all prospects organizational stakeholders. C-level, Senior Management through to end users.
- Own and continuously review a realistic forecast pipeline.
- Identify, document, and share business objectives, challenges, and needs within the organization. Develop a deep understanding of the prospect’s vision and the key factors driving it
- Continue to develop your own sales style to work with our team leading strategic go to market activities and campaigns.
- Maintain proficient usage of Technia’s systems and tool sets.
- Complete Dassault industries certifications and value learning paths.
- Fully qualify opportunities to match and orchestrate the appropriate internal and external resources.
- Work with the marketing team to develop ideas and create value led offers
- Respond to and follow up new business sales enquiries.
- Monitor and deliver insightful reports with relevant management information
- Carry out market research, attend industry tradeshows and conferences
Experience, skills and knowledge we are looking for in our New Business Consultant:
- Proven track record within a business to business (b2b) environment
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
- Commercial awareness (the ability to recognise, define and exploit commercial opportunities)
- Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads, etc.
- Proficient in writing business letters, quotations and proposals.
- Ability to clearly articulate value proposition with commercial and emotional ROI’s.
- Willing to travel to clients’ sites including overseas travel
